Marathon Starts Plant-Wide Turnaround at Canton Refinery

Marathon Oil Corp. has started planned work at its Canton refinery in Ohio, according to a company spokesman.

Shane Pochard, the spokesman, declined to comment on the work’s duration or scope.

Marathon will perform a full plant turnaround at the Canton refinery starting this month through April, Rob Knight, a public health clerk for the Canton City Health Department’s Air Pollution Control Division, said in an e-mail Feb. 24.

The refinery has a capacity of 84,500 barrels a day, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.
