Economic decline in Northern Ireland may have caused a recent spike in terrorist activity there, the Financial Times reported, citing unidentified people involved in Northern Ireland security.
There is an economic aspect to the recruitment of dissidents in Northern Ireland, the newspaper cited a security official as saying.
