Credit Suisse Moves Farris to Asia as Chief Strategist For F.I.
Credit Suisse Group AG appointed Ray Farris as chief strategist for fixed income, Asia Pacific, according to an e-mailed statement.
Farris, who will continue in his existing role as global head of foreign exchange strategy, will move to Singapore from London as part of his new duties, the statement said.
As chief strategist for fixed income, Asia Pacific, Farris will be responsible for “developing a cross-asset research platform covering all Asian fixed income asset classes,” the statement said.
Farris joined the Swiss bank as an economist in 1998, and rejoined in 2001 to head the bank’s Asia strategy effort in rates and foreign exchange, the statement said.
