Manchester United defender Patrice Evra signed a contract extension that will keep him at the club until at least the end of the 2013-14 season, the club said on its website.
“I have won a lot in the last five years, but I want to win more, and I know that’s the mentality of everyone here,” Evra was cited as saying.
The French left-back, 29, joined in January 2006 and has made 226 appearances, scoring three goals, United said. He has won three Premier League titles, three League Cups and winners’ medals in the Champions League and the Club World Cup.
