EQUITY PREVIEW *Bridgestone (5108 JT) expects 2011 profit to decline 17 percent to 82 billion yen. *Canon (7751 JT) may post record operating profit this fiscal year, the Nikkei newspaper reported. *Ishihara Chemical (4462 JO) will list its shares on the Tokyo Stock Exchange’s second section on March 11. *JP-Holdings (2749 JQ) plans to raise as much as 1.27 billion yen by selling shares, and list on the Tokyo Stock Exchange second section on March 10. *Mazda Motor (7261 JT) may withdraw from a U.S. production venture with Ford Motor Co. *NTT Data (9613 JT) will buy Singapore’s Cornerstone Asia Tech. *Ryoshoku (7451 JT) will merge with three other food distribution subsidiaries owned by Mitsubishi Corp. *Sony (6758 JT) had its ratings outlook raised to “stable” from “negative” by Moody’s Investors Service.

ANALYST RATINGS FOR NIKKEI 225 COMPANIES *Bridgestone (5108 JT) raised to “buy” at Goldman Sachs. *Casio Computer (6952 JT) raised to neutral by Nikko Cordial.
