Kazakhtelecom Annual Net Income Advances 26% to to $235 Million

AO Kazakhtelecom, the national phone monopoly in Kazakhstan, said net income advanced 26 percent on the year to 34.3 billion tenge ($235 million).

Sales rose 6 percent to 153 billion tenge in the period, Almaty-based Kazakhtelecom said in an e-mailed statement today, citing preliminary data.
