Italy’s benchmark FTSE MIB Index fell 50.71, or 0.2 percent, to 22,683.46 at the 5:30 p.m. close in Milan, dropping for a second day.
The following stocks were among the most active in the Italian market today.
DiaSorin SpA (DIA IM) fell 4.2 percent to 34.46 euros, its second straight loss. Berenberg Bank downgraded the stock to “sell” from “buy.”
Poltrona Frau SpA (PFG IM) surged 2.5 percent to 1.01 euros, after earlier rising as much as 7 percent. Intermonte SIM said it sold shares in the furniture maker representing a 3.2 percent stake.
SABAF SpA (SAB IM) declined 5.5 percent to 22.7 euros. The maker of gas appliance parts reported fourth-quarter net income fell 20 percent to 3.8 million euros ($5.2 million).
