CSR, Reckitt Benckiser, Telecity: U.K., Irish Equity Preview

The following is a list of companies whose shares may have unusual price changes in U.K. and Irish markets. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are from the last market close.

The benchmark FTSE 100 Index rose 40.30 points, or 0.7 percent, to 6,091.33. The FTSE All-Share Index advanced 0.6 percent, and Ireland’s ISEQ Index retreated 0.5 percent.

BG Group Plc (BG/ LN): The U.K.’s third-largest natural-gas producer said liquefied natural gas supply will fail to meet demand in 2020, constraining the market. The stock advanced 2.1 percent to 1,470 pence.

BP Plc (BP/ LN): MetLife Inc. purchased a majority stake in a 32-megawatt solar photovoltaic power project that a unit of the international oil company is building in New York. The shares rose 0.6 percent to 484.50 pence.

CSR Plc (CSR LN): The U.K. maker of chips used in Nokia Oyj mobile phones is scheduled to report full-year earnings. The company may report net income of $50 million according to the average of four estimates compiled by Bloomberg. The shares fell 1.6 percent to 407.5 pence.

ICAP Plc (IAP LN): The biggest broker of trades between banks said Chief Operating Officer Mark Yallop raised about 2.53 million pounds ($4 million) selling shares. The stock declined 0.4 percent to 554.5 pence.

Reckitt Benckiser Group Plc (RB/ LN): The world’s largest maker of household cleaners is scheduled to report full-year earnings. The company may report net income of 1.6 billion pounds ($2.57 billion) according to the average of 11 estimates compiled by Bloomberg. The shares rose 0.2 percent to 3,445 pence.

Smurfit Kappa Group Plc (SKG ID): Europe’s largest containerboard maker is due to report full-year earnings. The company may report net income of 63.6 million euros according to the average of seven estimates compiled by Bloomberg. The stock rose 0.3 percent to 9.10 euros.

Telecity Group Plc (TCY LN): The U.K. data center operator that hosts Spotify Ltd.’s music downloading services is due to report full-year earnings. The company may report net income of 33 million pounds according to the average of six estimates compiled by Bloomberg. The shares fell 1.2 percent to 494 pence.
