Turkish Steel Exports May Rise 30 Percent in 2011, Hurriyet Says

Turkish steel exports may increase 30 percent to $16 billion this year, Hurriyet said citing Namik Ekinci, chief of the Istanbul Iron & Steel Exporters’ Union.

Production in 2011 is expected to climb 16 percent to 20 million metric tons, Ekinci said, according to the Istanbul- based newspaper.
