Angelo Mozilo Settles California Lending Suit for $6.5 Million

Former Countrywide Financial Corp. Chief Executive Officer Angelo Mozilo and the company’s ex-Chief Operating Officer David Sambol will pay $6.5 million to settle a predatory lending lawsuit filed by California, state Attorney General Kamala Harris said in an e-mailed statement.
