Iraq Aims to Pump 11 Million Barrels a Day, Le Temps Reports

Iraq will increase its oil-production capacity to 11 million barrels a day within “six or seven years,” the country’s Deputy Prime Minister Hussain al- Shahristani told Le Temps.

That would make Iraq a bigger producer than Saudi Arabia, currently the world’s largest crude exporter, al-Shahristani told the Geneva-based newspaper.
