Gold Rises After Egypt Tensions Drive Increased Demand for Haven

Gold for immediate delivery rallied 0.4 percent to $1,342.68 an ounce at 10:08 a.m. Melbourne time after advancing on Jan. 28 on demand for a haven amid escalating tensions in Egypt. Bullion for April delivery in New York increased 0.1 percent to $1,343.
