Northern & Shell to Move Offices Outside London, Observer Says
Northern & Shell, which publishes the U.K.’s Daily Express, Daily Star, Daily Express and Sunday Express newspapers, is planning to relocate to Luton, 30 miles north of London, the Observer reported, citing council filings.
The premises, formerly occupied by courier company DHL, would include a 100 million pound ($158 million) printing press and offices for as many as 1,000 editorial staff, the newspaper said. The company, relocating from London’s Docklands, also owns Channel 5 and OK! magazine, the Observer said.
