Fulham Captain Danny Murphy Signs Contract Extension Through 2012 Season
Fulham captain Danny Murphy signed a contract extension until the summer of the 2012, the Premier League club said on its website.
Murphy, 33, has 15 goals in 119 games since joining Fulham from Liverpool in 2007. The former England midfielder scored the goal which kept the Cottagers in the Premier League in 2008 and helped the club reach the final of the Europa League last season.
Fulham, which is 15th in the 20-team Premier League this season, hosts Tottenham in the fourth round of the F.A. Cup tomorrow.
