Wal-Mart Apologizes to Chinese Customers, Will Pay Compensation

Wal-Mart Stores Inc. makes a “sincere apology” to Chinese customers affected by misleading pricing, and will compensate customers five times the difference “if inconsistent price is found again,” according to an e- mailed company statement today.
