Dogan, Yazicilar Get $160 Million Loan for Hydroelectric Plant in Turkey

Dogan Sirketler Grubu Holding AS and Yazicilar Holding AS, Turkish holding companies, got a $160 million, 12-year loan for their joint 120-megawatts hydropower plant project in Giresun in northern Turkey.

Aslancik Elektrik which plans to complete the plant by the end of 2013, got the loan with 3.5 years grace period, Dogan Holding and Yazicilar Holding said in a separate statements to the Istanbul Stock Exchange after markets closed yesterday. Dogan and Yazicilar each hold a 33.3 percent stake in Aslancik, the companies said.
