Blackpool’s Million-Pound Bet
Blackpool has put a 12 million pound ($19 million) price tag on its skipper Charlie Adam, jeopardizing his move to Liverpool, the Daily Mirror reported.
Adam was bought for 500,000 pounds two years ago. Liverpool’s new manager, Kenny Dalglish, had been considering an offer in the range of 5 million pounds, the paper said.
Ajax’ Pay Day
Ajax player Luis Suarez will ask the Amsterdam club to lower its 30 million pound asking price so he can join Liverpool, the Daily Telegraph reported.
