Energy companies: PTT Exploration & Production Pcl (PTTEP TB), Thailand’s only publicly traded oil explorer, lost 2.4 percent to 163 baht, the first decline in seven days. Banpu Pcl (BANPU TB), the biggest coal producer, dropped 1.9 percent to 812 baht, the lowest close since Jan. 10. Lanna Resources Pcl (LANNA TB) fell 2.8 percent to 24.3 baht, the most since Nov. 23.

Crude oil fell for a third day, the longest losing streak in nine weeks, as inflation in China bolstered speculation the world’s biggest energy user will take more steps to cool the economy and slow fuel demand.

Kiatnakin Bank Pcl (KK TB), a lender, fell 2.7 percent to 36.75 baht, its lowest close since Sept. 23. The company reported net income of 2.84 billion baht ($93 million) for the year ended Dec. 31.
