Chinese Tourists Spend Estimated $8 Billion in U.S., Mofcom Says
Chinese tourists are estimated to have spent almost $8 billion in U.S. last year, the Ministry of Commerce said in a statement on its website today, citing Deputy Minister Wang Chao.
The number of tourists visiting the U.S. from China may exceed 2 million in 2015, increasing from about 1 million in the first 11 months of last year, the ministry said.
