Canacol Energy Ltd. (CNEC CB) increased 1.5 percent to 2,970 pesos. The Calgary-based oil company that operates fields in South America increased for a second day after saying it’s on track to reach its 2011 production goal of 10,000 to 11,000 barrels of oil a day.

Textiles Fabricato Tejicondor SA (FABRI CB), Colombia’s biggest textile maker and exporter, decreased 1.7 percent to 28.20 pesos. Colombia’s peso rose 1.2 percent to 1,857 per U.S. dollar. A stronger local currency can cut into profits for companies that sell abroad.
