Saudi Chemical Gains Most in 6 Months After Net Rises 35 Percent

Saudi Chemical Co. surged the most in six months after the distributor of pharmaceuticals reported a 35 percent increase in fourth-quarter profit.

The shares soared 6.1 percent, the most since July 13, to 45.4 riyals at 11:58 a.m. in Riyadh.

Net income increased to 88 million riyals ($23 million) from 65 million riyals in the year-ago period.
