Porsche Automobil Holding SE may move parts of its production to China, Focus magazine reported, citing Chief Executive Officer Matthias Mueller.
The company will discuss this year whether to open assembly plants in Asia or North America, Mueller is quoted as saying by the German magazine.
A new compact sport-utility vehicle called the Cajun could be constructed at the same place in China as the Audi Q5, a technically similar model, he said, according to Focus. In the medium term, Porsche aims to sell 200,000 cars a year, Mueller is quoted as saying.
