Most U.S. airlines raised ticket prices $4 to $10 roundtrip this weekend after Southwest Airlines Co. initiated an increase, FareCompare.com said.
American Airlines, United, US Airways and Frontier matched the increase, FareCompare said, while Delta didn’t. FareCompare is a web-based fare-comparison site.
It was the third price increase in a month and the first of the year, FareCompare said in an e-mailed statement.
