HSBC Delays Bonus Payments Until After Results, Telegraph Says

HSBC Holdings Plc, Europe’s biggest bank, pushed back employee bonus payments until after its full- year financial results, the Daily Telegraph reported, citing a person it didn’t identify.

HSBC is scheduled to report its 2010 results on Feb. 28, according to the bank’s financial calendar.

Brendan McNamara, a London-based spokesman for HSBC, declined to comment on the report to Bloomberg News today.
