Palestinian Developer Seeks to Buy Israeli Firm, Calcalist Says

Bashar Masri, a Palestinian-American property developer, is seeking to buy Digal Investments & Holdings Ltd., a Tel Aviv-based real-estate company, Calcalist said, citing an interview.

Al-Masri wants to buy the company because it owns a luxury housing project being marketed to Jews that was built in a Palestinian neighborhood of east Jerusalem, the Israeli newspaper said.

Masri, managing director of Ramallah-based Bayti Real Estate Investment Company, did not immediately respond to a message left with his assistant seeking comment.
