Greece’s Kou-Kou Files for Creditor Protection, Imerisia Says

Kou-Kou SA, Greece’s second-largest toy and baby-product retailer, filed for protection from creditors as it seeks to reorganize amid falling sales, Imerisia reported.

The company, which operates mainly in northern Greece, saw a double-digit decline in 2010 sales; it also experienced difficulty in obtaining finance for working capital and guarantees for importing goods for the holiday season, the newspaper said, without citing anyone.
