Dutch Coptic Churches May be Threatened, De Telegraaf Reports
The Dutch National Coordinator for Counter-Terrorism asked police to keep a watchful eye on Coptic churches in the Netherlands, De Telegraaf reported , citing a spokesman for the agency.
The measures come in response to the Jan. 1 attack on a Coptic church in Alexandria, Egypt, and are unrelated to lists circulating on the Internet of possible terror targets, the newspaper said, citing the agency.
Coptic churches in Amsterdam, Utrecht and Eindhoven are on the lists, according to De Telegraaf.
