Ugandan Bourse Plans to Expand Number of Trading Days, Daily Monitor Says

The Uganda Stock Exchange plans to extend trading to five days a week from three, the Daily Monitor reported, citing bourse Chief Executive Officer Joseph Kitamirike.

The East African nation’s exchange, which is open for two hours until midday on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, plans to have two trading sessions daily, the Kampala-based newspaper reported.
