Hong Kong to Build 15,000 Public Housing Units a Year, RTHK Says
Hong Kong will build about 15,000 public housing units annually over the next five years, government broadcaster Radio-Television Hong Kong said, citing Housing Secretary Eva Cheng.
The government will double to 10,000 the number of checks aimed at ensuring that higher-income tenants move out of public housing, RTHK said, citing Permanent Secretary for Housing Duncan Pescod.
