Sun Pharmaceutical Advances in Mumbai After Drug Gets Initial FDA Approval

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. climbed in Mumbai trading after India’s largest drugmaker by market value said it received initial approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for a copy of Roche Holding AG’s osteoporosis drug Boniva.

The stock rose 1.3 percent to 488.90 rupees as of 9:18 a.m. local time.
