Mexican Stock Movers: Compartamos, Grupo Carso, Pacifico Fall

The following companies had unusual price changes in Mexico trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are as of 4:00 p.m. New York time.

The IPC index was little changed at 38,147.51.

Compartamos SAB (COMPARC* MM), the holding company for low- income lender Banco Compartamos, declined 0.1 percent to 26.4 pesos. The company was given a target price of 21 pesos at Barclays Capital.

Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacifico SAB (GAPB MM), the operator of airports in the Pacific and central regions of the country, fell 0.5 percent to 50.27 pesos. The company named Fernando Bosque Mohino as chief executive officer, replacing Jorge Sales Martinez who resigned for “personal” and health- related reasons.

Grupo Carso SAB (GCARSOA1 MM), the holding company controlled by billionaire Carlos Slim, fell for a second day, declining 1.5 percent to 79.47 pesos. Carso added a Kissimmee, Florida, property to its Mexican hotel chain as part of preparations for a spinoff of its real-estate unit, the Mexico City-based company said in a filing with Mexico’s banking and securities commission.
