Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva said Brazil’s economy is achieving “full employment” and that the country’s jobless rate will continue to decline.
The unemployment rate fell to a record 5.7 percent in November, down from 6 percent in October, the national statistics agency said Dec. 17.
“We are in a full employment pattern,” Lula said today in his weekly radio program broadcast nationwide. “The unemployment number will continue to drop.”
