The number of bidders for Pontin’s Ltd., the operator of U.K. holiday parks that went into administration last month, has fallen to three from 60, the Observer reported, without saying where it got the information.
Suitors may seek to demolish holiday chalets at Pontin’s resorts in order to build residential or commercial properties, the Observer said. The company’s administrator, KPMG International, may receive a few more bids following yesterday’s deadline, including approaches from former bosses Graham Parr and Ian Smith, according to the newspaper.
