Israeli Stocks: Africa-Israel, Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication

Israel’s TA-25 Index advanced for a second day, increasing 0.2 percent to 1,308.73 at the 4:30 p.m. close in Tel Aviv. Investors traded about 1.48 billion shekels ($412 million) in shares and convertible securities.

The following stocks rose or fell today. Symbols are in parentheses.

Africa-Israel Investments Ltd. (AFIL IT) declined the most in more than a week, dropping 3.3 percent to 23.22 shekels. Clal Finance Brokerage Ltd. lowered Lev Leviev’s holding company to “market perform” from “market outperform” after Africa- Israel said Chief Financial Officer Ron Fainaro will step down on March 31.

Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp. (BEZQ IT) increased the most in two weeks, advancing 2.4 percent to 10.20 shekels. Israel’s largest communications company said its board is considering a distribution of 3 billion shekels ($835 million) in dividends.
