Constellation Energy, Sara Lee, Sunstone Hotel: U.S. Equity Market Preview
Shares of the following companies may have unusual moves in U.S. trading Dec. 20. Stock symbols are in parentheses.
Constellation Energy Group Inc. (CEG US): The developer and operator of electricity generating facilities said Chief Operating Officer Michael J. Wallace, 63, plans to retire in April.
Sara Lee Corp. (SLE US): The maker of Ball Park hotdogs, Jimmy Dean breakfast foods and Douwe Egberts coffees is considering a sale to Brazil’s JBS SA, the world’s biggest beef producer, among other options, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing people familiar with the matter. Mike Cummins, a spokesman for Sara Lee, didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment. An e-mail to the investor relations director at JBS wasn’t immediately returned.
Sunstone Hotel Investors Inc. (SHO US): The real estate investment trust that focuses on upscale lodging said Arthur Buser has resigned as president and chief executive officer.
