Autonomy May Be Focus of Microsoft, Oracle Bidding, Mail Says

Autonomy Corp. Plc, a U.K.-based software maker, may be the subject of a bidding war between Microsoft Corp. and Oracle Corp. in January, the Daily Mail reported, without saying where it obtained the information.

The bidding may be around 25 pounds a share, valuing Autonomy at about 6 billion pounds {$9.35 billion), the newspaper said.
