The SET Index rose 0.7 percent to 1,013.19, gaining for the first time in five days.
Advanced Info Service Pcl (ADVANC TB): The nation’s biggest mobile-phone company may reduce interconnection fees, or the rate it charges rival operators for handling calls across networks, the Bangkok Post reported, citing Chief Executive Officer Wichian Mektrakarn. The shares rose 1.2 percent to 87 baht.
Lanna Resources Pcl (LANNA TB): Thailand’s second-biggest coal producer provided a 120 million baht ($4 million) loan to its Indonesian mining unit for coal procurement and working capital, the company said yesterday. The shares were unchanged at 18.7 baht.
PTT Aromatics & Refining Pcl (PTTAR TB): The operator of Thailand’s second-biggest oil refinery may start producing so- called green diesel and green jet fuel in a venture valued at as much as $200 million, the Bangkok Post reported, citing Chief Executive Officer Bowon Vongsinudom. The shares rose 0.7 percent to 36.5 baht.
Siam Cement Pcl (SCC TB): Thailand’s third-largest publicly traded company by market value plans to sell its remaining 4.4 percent stake in PTT Chemical Pcl to fund business expansion, President Kan Trakulhoon said yesterday. The shares were unchanged at 329 baht.
