Al Jaber Gets $56 Million Government Contract, Gulf News Says

Al Jaber Group got a 205 million- dirham ($56 million) contract from Abu Dhabi’s municipality, Gulf News reported, citing a statement from Abu Dhabi’s Baniyas Investment & Development Co.

Al Jaber will build infrastructure including roads, electricity and water networks, sewage and landscape at Bawabat Al Sharq development, which will be completed by June 2012, the newspaper said.

The Bawabat Al Sharq project is a 3-billion dirham development designed to include homes, shops, entertainment and sporting facilities in Abu Dhabi’s Bani Yas City, the newspaper said.
