Ambani May Buy 25,000 Piece Noritake Set in Sri Lanka, ET Says

Nita Ambani, the wife of India’s richest man, has inquired about ordering 25,000 pieces of chinaware from Noritake Co.’s Sri Lanka plant for her family’s new multi-story home in Mumbai, the Economic Times reported, citing M. Deva Raja, general manager of Noritake Sri Lanka. The crockery is as much as 80 percent cheaper in Sri Lanka than elsewhere in the world, the newspaper said.

Nita Ambani’s husband, Mukesh, is the chairman of Reliance Industries Ltd., owner of the world’s largest refining complex.
