Turkey will waive charges and interest on debts from the union of hazelnut producers to the state grain board, Sabah newspaper reported, citing draft legislation.
The changes to debts at the union, known as Fiscobirlik, is one measure in legislation on debt restructuring that’s set for discussion in the Ankara parliament, Sabah said.
The legislation also obliges employeers to pay the social security contributions for a year for any employee who is jailed, the paper said.
