Russia to Cut Birch, Aspen Export Duties Under Accord With EU

Russia will cut the export duties on birch and aspen under an agreement with the European Union, Economy Minister Elvira Nabiullina said today in Brussels.

The export duty on birch will drop to 7 percent and that on aspen to 5 percent, Nabiullina told reporters.
