Japan Watchdog Files Complaint in Wal-Mart Unit Case, Kyodo Says

Japan’s securities watchdog filed an insider-trading complaint with prosecutors against the husband of a former non-executive director of Seiyu Co., the Japanese unit of Wal-Mart Stores Inc., Kyodo News reported. The husband purchased 268,000 Seiyu shares for 23 million yen ($280,000) after hearing from his wife that Wal-Mart was about to take over the supermarket chain, the report said.
