HTC Shares Rise in Taipei Trading as Mobile-Phone Maker Reports Sales Gain

HTC Corp. shares rose in Taipei trading after the company’s November sales rose 163 percent to NT$38 billion from a year earlier, according to a statement filed to the Taiwan Stock Exchange.

The stock gained 0.9 percent to NT$889 as of 9:01 a.m. Credit Suisse Group AG raised its share-price estimate for HTC to NT$995 from NT$850 and maintained its “outperform” rating.
