China's Stocks Rebound as Property Developers, Consumer Staples Advance

China’s stocks rebounded as a rally for gold companies, consumer staples producers and property developers overshadowed declines for the nation’s largest lenders.

The Shanghai Composite Index added 0.1 percent to 2,860.51 as of 2:18 p.m. local time, erasing a loss of 1.7 percent.
