Turkey Plans Land Status Legislation in January, Sabah Reports
Turkey’s government plans to seek parliamentary approval of legislation changing the status of forest land in January, Sabah newspaper reported, citing Industry Minister Nihat Ergun.
The legislation, which changes the categorization of land that no longer supports trees or has been built on, will solve problems for millions of landowners, Ergun said, according to the Istanbul-based newspaper.
