Spain May Boost Barley, Wheat Production in 2011, USDA Unit Says

Spain may produce 8.157 million metric tons of barley in the 2010-2011 marketing year, up from an estimated 7.292 million the previous year, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Foreign Agricultural Service said in a report posted today on its website. Wheat production may rise to 5.834 million tons from 4.773 million, the agency said.
