N.Y. Crude Oil Futures Climb to 25-Month High, Reversing Earlier Decline

New York crude oil rose, reversing an earlier decline of as much as 0.7 percent.

Crude oil futures for January delivery increased 27 cents, or 0.3 percent, to $89.46 a barrel at 2:20 p.m. on the New York Mercantile Exchange, the highest level since Oct. 9, 2008. Oil earlier fell as low as $88.56 a barrel.
