Madagascar `Yes' Vote Wins Nov. 17 Constitutional Referendum, Court Says

Madagascar’s High Court confirmed the “Yes” vote won the country’s Nov. 17 referendum with 74 percent of the ballot, the Antananarivo-based court said in a statement handed to reporters today.

Voter turnout was 53 percent, it said.
