Jetlink of Kenya Wins License to Fly Abroad, Daily Nation Says

Jetlink Express, a Kenyan airline, was awarded a three-year license from the east African nation’s civil aviation authority to start operating passenger and cargo flights to destinations abroad, the Daily Nation said.

The carrier aims to compete with Kenya Airways Ltd., the nation’s biggest airline, in the region, the Nairobi-based newspaper said today, citing Managing Director Elly Aluvale.

Jetlink has signed cooperation agreements with Dubai’s Emirates, Brussels Airlines and Qatar Airways, it reported.
