Iberia to Lose Millions of Euros on Air Strike, Expansion Says

Iberia Lineas Aereas de Espana SA will lose millions of euros as a consequence of a strike by Spanish air traffic controllers, Expansion said, citing Chief Operating Officer Rafael Sanchez-Lozano.
Iberia and its Air Nostrum unit were forced to cancel a thousand flights, leaving 100,000 passengers stranded, and although the company is still evaluating the impact it estimates losses will “run into the millions”, Sanchez-Lozano was cited as saying.
